Faisselle comes from Latin and means “small basket”. Originally used to drain the liquid from a specific type of soft cheese, this antique Faisselle is now used as decor and cherished for its farmhouse aesthetic.
They come in all different materials, but this one is ironstone with crazing and staining. There are so many ways to decorate with a faisselle, ie as a candle, soap/brush holder in a bathroom or kitchen, or filled with wildflowers.
